For those of you who don't know me personally, the idea for Vintage Vibes came about with the birth of my daughter. Although there are some great clothes out there for girls, I wanted to dress her in something funky and unique. As every stylish mum knows there is nothing worse than turning up to a party with your little angel dressed in her finest chain store dress, only to be greeted with another little angel (or two!) dressed exactly the same! With Vintage Vibes I wanted to create something that was beautiful and unique.

I believe fashion should be fun. Children should want to wear their clothes and should get as much enjoyment out of wearing their "favourites", as my beautiful daughter calls them, as we do! With this in mind I started creating some fun and fashionable singlets that kids just love to wear!

I love individuality and have a passion for using recycled fabrics to create new fashionable pieces of clothing. I find inspiration from the various vintage materials I acquire and base the design of the dress/pants/jumpsuits stems from what best suits the material. I also like to embellish the piece using miscellaneous recycled doilies, ribbons and buttons to add that special touch!

I try to sew daily and have lots of half finished pieces that are just waiting for me to find the perfect pocket, belt, or hat to match them so please check back regularly as I will be listing new clothes as often as possible.
