100g is enough for a pair of socks with some extra. Depending on the pattern and size, 100g may also be sufficient for a small baby jumper, pants or a couple of hats and booties.

Every skein of yarn is unique, even if it is within the same dye lot. If you are using yarn from multiple skeins, especially if they are from different dyelots, make sure you alternate the yarn every few rows to ensure an even distribution of colour.
